STORY BEHIND - KALAVOJNA WINES

Kalavojna d.o.o. was founded in 2000 with the intention of being recognizable for the uniqueness of all the products that Istrian red soil (Terra rossa) can give. We started cultivating smaller vineyards of Malvasia and Merlot, alongside with olive groves, and in the rush of ambition and desire for progress, we enriched and expanded our work with plantations of Teran, Chardonnay, Muscat, as well as new olive seedlings in Vodnjan.

Thanks to the pursuit of constant progress, willingness to work and demans of the market, our cellars and business expanded in a short notice which, according to this, have reflected in the expansion of our whole offer. Our offer includes bottled white and red wines with sparkling wine made from hand-picked varieties. The fact that our sparkling wine is stored in the most famous touristic destination – Pula’s underground tunnels Zerostrasse make them even more interesting and unique. In addition, we offer you multi-award-winning extra virgin olive oil which creation is filled with extra love.
